Las Audiencias Públicas: Un Espacio de Diálogo Creado por Juan Sabines Guerrero

Monarquía, Aristocracia y Democracia, son algunas de las principales formas de gobierno que existen para conducir un país, ciudad o estado hacia diferentes fines. Juan Sabines Guerrero, el actual gobernador constitucional del estado de Chiapas, ha elegido la última como estandarte de su administración. Durante los cinco años que lleva ocupando este cargo público, la democracia y el buen manejo de los recursos públicos, han sido elementos fundamentales y constantes en todos los actos realizados e iniciativas promulgadas.

El sábado 31 de diciembre de 2011 durante su quinto informe de gobierno, Juan Sabines subrayó  frente al presidente de México, Felipe Calderón y diversos líderes empresariales, miembros de la sociedad civil, funcionarios de los tres niveles de gobierno e integrantes de su gabinete, una de las premisas principales de su administración: elevar la calidad de vida de los ciudadanos mediante el manejo eficiente de los recursos públicos. Además de hacer un recuento sobre algunas de las acciones llevadas acabo para cumplir con su objetivo como: empoderamiento de las mujeres, la disminución de la pobreza extrema, la creación de 36 mil 643 empleos, el apoyo a grupos vulnerables como adolescentes y personas de la tercera edad y el Programa de Acción ante el Cambio Climático y la Ley para la Adaptación y Mitigación de Cambio Climático; Sabines anunció que a partir del 6 de enero de 2012 tendría lugar una nueva iniciativa para el desarrollo social: las audiencias públicas.

Las audiencias públicas tienen el objetivo principal de atender las solicitudes de la comunidad. Estos espacios de expresión se realizarán todos los viernes del año en el Palacio de Gobierno y serán prescindidas por Juan Sabines y miembros de su gabinete. El procedimiento a seguir incluye una asesoría previa sobre los diferentes programas de gobierno para cada persona interesada en participar y una canalización hacia el área adecuada. Todos los casos son analizados cuidadosamente y atendidos por el gobernador Juan Sabines Guerrero, quien está consciente que gobierno y sociedad son un equipo que debe sumar esfuerzos para la prosperidad y evolución.

La primera audiencia, llevada acabo el pasado 6 de enero, fue todo un éxito.

720 personas fueron escuchadas durante este primer viernes de atenciones. Los ciudadanos agradecieron la libertad de tener un canal de comunicación directo que les permita expresar sus preocupaciones y contribuir a la generación de soluciones. Una vez más quedó demostrado que Sabines es, no solo un eficaz servidor público sino también un ser humano comprometido y preocupado por ayudar y apoyar a los mexicanos.
Sin duda, Chiapas que hace muy poco tiempo estuviera catalogado por la prensa tanto nacional como internacional como el principal foco rojo del país y como uno de los estados más conflictivos de la República Mexicana, sigue adelante por el camino del progreso en vías de un panorama prometedor. Juan Sabines y los demás miembros de su gabinete son responsables por los avances en materia económica, política, ambiental y social que ha experimentado la más extensa de las ciudades  mexicanas.
