Audi is the ‘Brand of the Year’ in Germany
The German luxury car Audi has just been named ‘Brand of the Year’ by the German Design Council.
To make matters worse, the house with the four rings also won six first places in different categories of awards from the Council, which sat well with the distinction “Best of the Best ‘.
The official Award of the German Design Council will take place next September 13 when it begins the Frankfurt Autoshow.
“We are pleased to be chosen not only for ‘Brand of the Year’ but for winning first place in seven of the 13 design categories at stake,” said Stefan Sielaff, Audi’s chief designer. “These awards recognize the global image of our brand that always tries to surprise and arouse emotions with progressive products, elegant and sporty.”
For the award ‘Best of the Best’, Audi won in the categories’ Brand of the Year ‘for its overall performance as a company and its progressive designs,’ Concepts & Studies’ by Spyder Audi e-tron, ‘Accessories & Tuning ‘for the Clubsport quattro Audi A1,’ Components & technology ‘for its headlights with LED technology to shine the road without dazzling or dazzle to drivers coming in the opposite direction, “Lifestyle” for its carbon skis ‘Architecture and Events’ for his Area1, track mobile test set for testing handling of the Audi A1 in different cities, and ‘Print’, for all the paperwork sent with the launch of the Audi Q3.
